ORLANDO (March 12, 2018) – Howard University Men's Tennis team fell in its neutral site match against Fairleigh Dickinson (FDU), 6-1.
 
Despite the loss, freshman Roger Lyn earned his first collegiate singles victory after defeating Fairleigh Dickinson's Moric Budinszky in straight sets (6-1, 6-1).
 
In doubles competition, the Knights narrowly escaped with wins, but held the upper hand going into singles play, 1-0.
 
Sophomore Cole Gittens won his first set against Andris Gudins, 7-6, but dropped set two, 2-6, and the deciding set, 7-10.
 
Tomorrow (March 13), the Bison continue its Sunshine State swing when they take on conference foe North Carolina Central. Match time is set for 11:30 a.m.
