FAIRFAX, Va. (January 6, 2018) – Coach David Oliver and the Howard University Men's & Women's Track & Field teams competed at the Father Diamond Invitational, hosted by George Mason University.
Overall, the men finish fourth while the women placed sixth in the event.
 
On the women's side, freshman Destiny Stanford continued her momentum from the cross country season where she finished first in the women's 1000-meter run.
 
Howard women also won the distance medley, consisting of freshmen Stanford and GaResia Woods, sophomore Sydney Benson, and junior Jade Hardy.
 
For the men, senior Mohamed Bah placed fourth in the men's 1000-meter run while sophomore Roodly Ovil earned runner-up in the men's high jump.
 
On Jan. 13, Howard travels to New York City (NYC) for the NYC Armory, hosted by Stevens Institute of Technology.
