WASHINGTON (March 25, 2026) – This weekend brings double the competition for the Howard Track & Field program. The Bison will compete in the Raleigh Relays (March 26-28) in Raleigh, N.C., and the UCF Knights Invite (March 27-28) in Orlando, Fla.

MEET PREVIEW
RALEIGH RELAYS
The Raleigh Relays is hosted by North Carolina State University on the Paul Derr Track and Field facility. Action begins Thursday (March 26) at 4:05 p.m., with the men's steeplechase.
UCF KNIGHTS INVITE
The University of Central Florida (UCF) Invitational takes place at the UCF Track and Field/Soccer Complex. Action begins Friday (March 27) at 10 a.m., with the women's javelin.

RALEIGH RELAYS
On the men's side, senior
Kobe Hutson (Bridgetown, Barbados) and freshman
Ashton Thomas (Greensboro, N.C.) will be competing in the 800-meter run.
For the women's side, freshman
Alexis Jones (New Windsor, N.Y.) takes part in the 800-meter run, 1500-meter run and the 4x400 relay.
Senior
Sanaa Morris (Bermuda) participates in the 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash and the 4x400 relay.
Sophomore
Tiffany Mugubi (Houston) will be competing in the 800-meter run and the 4x400 relay.
Freshman
Sadie Sanders (Santa Rosa, Calif.) takes part in the 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash and the 4x400 relay.

Sarah Seam (Gaithersburg, Md.) participates in the 800-meter run.
UCF KNIGHTS INVITATIONAL
On the men's side, sophomore
Drew Dillard (Silver Spring, Md.) will be competing in the high jump.

Jorim Bangue (Yaoundé, Cameroon) participate in the 110-meter hurdles. Williams will also be competing in the 400-meter hurdles.
Two men's 4x100 relay teams will be competing. The first team consisting of Akpamgbo, Gaines, Evans and Boulware. The second team consists of McKindra, J. Dillard, Grant and Greene.
Two teams take part in the 4x400 relay. McKindra, Greene, Grant and Gaines make up the first team while Evans, Boulware, Akpamgbo and J. Dillard make up the second team.

Jasmen Walker (Flossmoor, Ill.) will be competing in the long jump. Mumford will also be competing in the triple jump.

Aniya Woodruff (Harrisburg, N.C.) will be competing in the 100-meter hurdles.
Billups, Johnson, Vannoy, Woodruff are all set to compete in the women's 400-meter hurdles.
The women's 4x100 team will be competing, consisting of Norton, Darden, Turner and Woodruff.
Two teams are set to compete in the women's 4x400 relay. The first consists of Billups, Johnson, Turner and Vannoy. The second is made up of Norton, Walker, White and Robinson.
LAST TIMEOUT
Howard competed at the USF Alumni Invitational (March 20-21), opening the outdoor season with a bang.
On the men's side, Bangue took first place in the 110-meter hurdles, clocking in at 14.01.
Grant and Greene earned third (46.25) and fourth (46.50), respectively in the 400-meter dash. Grant currently sits seventh in the nation in the 400-meter dash and recently received the MEAC Track Athlete of the Week award (March 25).
In the field, D. Dillard took fourth in the high jump with a mark of 2.05 meters.
On the women's side, Billups won the 400-meter hurdles and is now ranked No. 1 in the nation. She also recently received the MEAC Track Athlete of the week award.
Lyons took first place in the 200-meter dash, recording a 23.11 mark, and second place in the 100-meter dash with a mark of 11.48.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
On April 2-4, Howard is set to head down to Austin, Texas for the annual Texas Relays.
