Phillip Gyau and the Howard Men's Soccer team opens conference play against the Appalachian State Mountaineers. Saturday's match starts 7 p.m. at Greene Stadium.

With less than five minutes remaining, both squads were deadlocked, 1-1, until Robert Morris' Bayley Winkel scored the go-ahead goal to down Howard, 2-1.

Marcus Johnson with HU's lone goal and put the Bison ahead, 1-0.
MATCHUP PREVIEW
