Zach Simmons (Rockwall, Texas) put the Bison ahead in the first half, scoring with an assist from junior defender

Howard enters NEC play with a 2-6 record after splitting its previous two matches against VMI (Sept. 19) and Duke (Sept. 22).
Junior forward
Daniil Kaban (Kharkiv, Ukraine) leads the Bison with three goals and six points through eight matches. Simmons and freshman
Xavier Sharp (Aurora, Colo.) each have one goal.
In goal, Keiller has started all eight matches, recording 44 saves and one shutout.

CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE
CCSU enters Sunday's matchup with a 2-6 record and has dropped its last five contests. The Blue Devils most recently fell to UAlbany, 1-0 (Sept. 20).
Senior midfielder Santiago Marin Gutierrez leads CCSU with four goals, two assists and 10 points. Ben-Martin Wilkinson has added two goals while Diego Canellas has recorded one goal and one assist.
Carter Fitzgerald has started five matches in goal for the Blue Devils while Grady Wilson has made three starts.
SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's contest marks the eighth meeting between Howard and Central Connecticut State.
The Bison hold a 3-3-1 record in the all-time series and have won the last two meetings.
Howard claimed the most recent matchup, defeating CCSU, 3-0 (Oct. 12, 2025), in New Britain, Conn.
