WASHINGTON (September 30, 2026) - Howard University men's soccer team hits the road Thursday (Oct.1), traveling to Chicago to face Chicago State (CSU) at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and will be available to watch live on NEC Front Row.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
HOWARD
Howard enters Thursday's matchup with a 2-7 record (0-1 NEC) on the season and looks to bounce back with a strong performance against Chicago State.
Junior
Daniil Kaban (Kharkiv, Ukraine) leads Howard with three goals and six points this season. He has also recorded 11 Shots, making him a key player to watch out for against the Cougars.
Senior goalie
Liam Keiller (Gaithersburg, Md.) has recorded 50 saves through nine games, including 11 saves against Duke (Sept. 22).
CHICAGO STATE
Chicago State has had a rough start to the season as they enter Thursday's matchup with an 0-8 record of the season.
Senior Alexander Mutalibov has scored one goal and recorded seven shots for the Cougars.
Bill Okumu has also scored one goal, giving Chicago State another player to monitor, offensively.
CSU goalkeepers has combined for 70 saves through eight games, including 54 by Jabullie Mooketis.
LAST TIMEOUT
The Bison fell short in their last outing, suffering a 2-0 loss to Central Connecticut State (Sept.27).
