WASHINGTON, DC --- Over the weekend, the Howard women's tennis team lost its first match of the spring season, falling to crosstown opponent George Washington (7-0) at home Friday afternoon.

Outside of the team's middle flights (Nos. 3 & 4 Singles and No. 2 Doubles), the Bison (1-1) were able to claim a few games during their straight set losses, including six each in the other four singles matches.
