RICHMOND, VA --- Over the weekend, the Howard men's tennis team competed in the two-day Virginia Commonwealth University 4-1 Invitational.

The Bison (0-4) struggled throughout its three-match slate, falling to Richmond (4-1) & host VCU (5-0) on Saturday and dropping its match on Sunday to Belmont (5-0).

BISON HIGHLIGHT
Junior Ismael Kaouache was able to earn Howard's only flight victory of the weekend in the team's first match against Richmond. Kaouache won a three-set battle with UR's Canyon Teague at No. 1 Singles (6-2, 1-6, 10-8) to help the Bison avoid the sweep and pick up their first singles victory of the season.
