HARRISONBURG, VA --- In its final non-conference road match of the season, the Howard men's tennis team was shut out by the James Madison University Dukes, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon at Hillside Courts.

Howard (2-8) came into the match shorthanded and had to concede a point at No. 6 Singles and a match at No. 3 Doubles.

The Bison's most competitive showing came in the No. 1 Doubles flight as sophomore Ishmael Kaouache and junior Myron Davis played JMU's Sebastian Salinas and Miljan Ruzic close before falling 8-6.

NEXT UP: HU returns to conference action with a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match against Hampton University on Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. at the Banneker Tennis Courts next to campus.
