ANNAPOLIS, MD --- The Howard women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the United States Naval Academy on Thursday aftenoon at Navy's Tose Family Tennis Center. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was moved due to inclement weather.

Umarah Mughnee stood up in defeat, as she was able to secure Howard's only points of the match with a straight set victory over Navy's Katie Porter (
6-3, 6-3) at No. 2 Singles.
