WASHINGTON, DC --- The Howard men's tennis team picked up its first victory of the season this afternoon, holding on for a 4-3 triumph over Mount St. Mary's University on Saturday at the Washington Tennis / Education Foundation complex.

Howard (1-3) captured two of three Doubles matches and the top three Singles flights to secure the win for the Bison. Sophomores Ishmael Kaouache & William Jones III and junior Myron Davis showed resilience in their Singles wins, winning each of them in three sets. Kaouache and Jones III finished their matches at Nos. 1 & 2 after winning the first set, while Davis battled back from a set down to win the final two.
