WASHINGTON, DC --- Over the weekend, the Howard women's tennis team failed to string together a second consecutive victory by dropping a 6-1 decision to James Madison at the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation complex.
Howard (1-3) struggled against the Dukes, failing to earn a single victory in played matches. Freshman
Sajela Harlow was credited with Howard's lone point at No. 6 Singles with JMU (3-1, 1-0 CAA) playing shorthanded.
Junior
Umarah Mughnee played the most competitive match of the day. She managed to win 10 total games at No. 2 Singles in a 7-5, 7-5 loss to JMU's Sarah Khan. Mughnee and fellow junior
Stacey Roheman came the closest to earning a win in Doubles as well as the pair lost to the Dukes' duo of Taylor Pinchoff and Dylan Owens at No. 1, 6-4
