CHAPEL HILL, NC --- The Howard University men's tennis team opened their 2015 slate with a road matchup against No. 6 ranked North Carolina and suffered a 7-0 loss to the Tar Heels on Monday afternoon at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

Junior Myron Davis and sophomore Laguna Foster, Jr. were able to earn the most points off of the Tar Heels in their matches. Davis conceded defeat in his No. 3 Singles match to UNC's Stuart DePaolo (6-2, 6-2) and Foster fought to a 6-1, 6-4 loss at No. 4 Singles to Carolina's Chad Hoskins.

Howard gave up a game in Doubles and a point at No. 6 Singles by entering the contest with five active players.
