RESULTS

ELKTON, MD --- In the first match for the Spring 2015 season, the Howard University women's tennis suffered a 5-2 road loss to the University of Delaware on Saturday evening at the Elkton Tennis Center.

Audra Bell led the way for Howard (0-1), as the junior won her No. 3 Singles match over UD's Nataliya Naumova in straight sets (7-6 (2-0), 6-1) and teamed with freshman Sajela Harlow to win the No.3 doubles match over Abby Martinez & Danea Jonjic, 8-7 (9-0).

Sophomore Jessica Josiah earned the Lady Bison's other point with a 7-6 (5-0), 3-6, 12-10 victory over Amanda Studnicki in No. 4 Singles.

Howard returns to action on Sunday, January 25 with a pair of matchups with George Mason and Norfolk State.
