HARRISONBURG, VA --- Howard women's tennis saw its ten-game winning streak snapped at the hands of the James Madison University Dukes on Saturday afternoon, conceding a 6-1 defeat in non-conference action.

Howard (11-4) would not go down without a fight against JMU (12-5) as half of the team's singles matches went three sets and all three doubles teams winning five games in defeat. 

No. 1 Katelyn Stokes earned the Lady Bison's only victory, defeating JMU's Taylor Pinchoff in three sets, 1-6, 6-1, 6-4.
