The singles slate was evenly split, 3-3, with the trio fo Williams Jones, Ismael Kaouche and Myron Davis earning victories in the top three flights while Laguna Foster, Nico Sorrell and Nile Kendall stumbled in the latter three flights.

Women's Lacrosse Drop Back-to-Back Contests

NEW BRITIAN, CT & WASHINGTON, DC --- Freshman midfielder Tianna Clark netted a career high three goals for the Lady Bison in Saturday's road game against the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils on the losing end of a 22-7 outcome. Clark scored her hat trick in the first half and now has five goals on the season.

On Sunday, Howard played its first home game of the 2014 season against Presbyterian College, a matchup that had been scheduled twice previously due to poor weather conditions. Those conditions found their way into the game once it began, as the teams played the entire game in rain and a snow storm. Presbyterian would survive the elements and walk away with a 16-9 win over Howard (0-8).

Smalls had her best game of the season, scoring a team-high five goals while Cox had three goals and an assist and junior attack Michaela Jupiter added a goal.

The Blue Hose opened the game with two goals within the first three minutes. Both teams would alternate scores before Smalls put home two goals to tie the match at 4-4 halfway through the first.

Presbyterian would go on a 4-0 run to close the half with an 8-4 lead over the Lady Bison.

Smalls would score the first goal of the second half at the 27:43 mark to cut Presbyterian's lead to 8-5 but Howard would get no closer in the contest.
