MILLSBORO, DE --- Over the weekend, the Howard Unversity women's bowling team took part in the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawk Classic in Millsboro, Delaware. Here are the highlights from the event:
- Team Result: 17th Place of 18
- Top Bowler: Senior
Gia Bethea was 42nd overall in individual play. Betha posted a total pinfall of 1,099, good for an average of 183.17. She also posted the Lady Bison's highest Baker score of the event (203 in a loss to Monmouth).
- In Sunday's Championship Bracket, Howard went 2-1 in Baker play, defeating New Jersey City University twice (569-482 and 627-470) and losing to Norfolk State, 607-788.
