NORFOLK, Va. (March 20, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) uncovered its women's bowling postseason accolades where Howard University junior
Cameren Sullivan (Chicago) received All-MEAC Third Team. The announcement came during the league's annual awards ceremony in Norfolk, Va.
In 177 frames bowled, Sullivan registered a 41-percent strike percentage. In 44 traditional matches, the two-time All-MEAC selection recorded 8,186 total pinfalls with a 186.0 average. At the Northeast Classic, she rolled a season-high 258.
North Carolina A&T State swept the major awards. Maya Avilez was named MEAC Player of the Year while teammate Victorya White garnered Rookie of the Year. Aggie Head Coach Kim Terrell-Kearney took home the conference's Coach of the Year for the fifth consecutive year.
All awards were voted on by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.
On March 21-23, Howard goes to Raleigh, N.C., for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship.
