NORFOLK, Va. (February 4, 2026) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) uncovered its men's track & field weekly accolades where Howard University sophomore
Drew Dillard (Silver Spring, Md.) was named Field Athlete of the Week. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.
At the Bob Pollock Invite (Jan. 30-31), Dillard finished fifth overall in the high jump, clearing a MEAC-best 2.08 meters.
Junior sprinter
Emerson McKindra (Linden, N.J.) earned honorable mention after posting a season-best 47.83 in the 400 meters at the Bob Pollock Invitational.
Maryland Eastern Shore junior Banele Mkabela was selected MEAC Track Athlete of the Week.
On Feb. 6-7, HU gears up for another pair of meets: Penn Classic, hosted by the Quakers, and Wisconsin Windy City Invitational, hosted by the Badgers.
