WASHINGTON (September 19, 2025) - Howard University men's golf continues its fall season at The Goat (Sept. 20-21), taking place in Annapolis, Md. This two-day, 54-hole tournament will occur at the United States Naval Academy Golf Club, hosted by Navy.

HISTORY
This is the second consecutive year Navy has hosted The Goat. Last year, The Goat marked the first time Navy hosted a fall tournament since the Navy Fall Classic (1992-2016).
Howard was part of the 16-team field that participated in the inaugural year.
TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
The Naval Academy Golf Club is a private, university golf course owned by the Naval Academy, located in Annapolis, Md. The course is operated by the Naval Academy Golf Association (NAGA), which is affiliated with the Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA). The golf course serves as the home course for the Brigade of Midshipmen and all of the faculty and staff at the Naval Academy. Active duty and retired military personnel, along with civilians, have access to the course.
This year's tournament welcomes a strong lineup of returning schools, including Howard, Navy, Binghamton, Bucknell, Colgate, Columbia, Georgetown, George Washington, Lafayette, Loyola (Md.) and William & Mary. Joining the competition for the first time is UConn, George Mason, Harvard, Le Moyne and Seton Hall.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Sept. 3-4, Howard opened the fall season with a second-place finish at the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational.
Junior
Mathis Perroni (Metz, France) led the squad, firing 5-under par (211) while tying for third place, while
Franisco Perez took fifth overall in the player leaderboard, registering 3-under par (213).
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Bison are set to participate in the Red Flash Invitational (Oct. 5-7).
