WASHINGTON (May 21, 2025) – Howard University senior journalism major
Sareyah Rudd, continued the senior spotlight series with a grad edition, featuring wide receiver and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Champion
Wayne Dennis Jr. (Tampa, FL.) for a quick Q & A session.
Q: What is your favorite part about playing football at HU?
A: My favorite part was definitely the locker room talks. This was the funniest team I have been around and nothing is close to those moments (lol).
Q: Can you touch on the improvement that you saw from your freshman to grad year?
A: The biggest improvement I made since freshman year has been my mentality & work ethic. It grew a lot, especially when you surround yourself with other hard-working individuals.
Q: How did you get started in playing football?
A: I started out playing flag football when I was six years old and never stopped.
Q: What kept you motivated?
A: My family has kept me motivated, for sure. I have put myself in a position to give back to them for everything they have done for me.
Q: What advice would you give to future Bison?
A: My advice to future Bison would be to stay consistent because it is the key to success.
