NORFOLK, Va. (October 5, 2026) – The MEAC (Mid-Easten Athletic Conference) revealed its football weekly honors where Howard University sophomore linebacker
Aidan Foster (Washington) won the league's Defensive Player of the Week. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
In the victory over rival Hampton (Oct. 3), Foster recorded five total tackles (four solos) and 1.5 sacks in the annual Battle of the Real HU at Audi Field.
This season, the D.C. product has 30 total tackles (18 solos), three QB hurries, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.

Ja'Shawn Scroggins (Las Vegas) received honorable mention after accounting for 331 yards of total offense (267 passing & 64 rushing) and a TD in the win over Hampton.
Morgan State quarterback Cameron Edge earned MEAC Offensive Player of the Week while teammates Evan Cooke and Alex Amaya were named Offensive Lineman of the Week and Specialist of the Week, respectively.
Howard travels to Philadelphia to take on Penn at 1 p.m., Saturday (Oct. 10.).
