DELAWARE STATE
DSU (12-10, 4-3 MEAC) is coming off an 84-82 win over Morgan State Monday (Feb. 3) for its fourth victory in a row. The Hornets were led by Kaseem Watson with a team-high 30 points.

Blake Harper (Washington) poured in a game-high 34 points to lead four Bison in double figures to lift HU to a 100-94 shootout win over Delaware State in the MEAC opener.
SERIES RECORD
Earlier this season (Jan. 4), Howard defeated Delaware State, 100-94, in a shootout at Burr Gymnasium. It was the Bison's eighth straight win in the series. Howard holds a slight, 16-15, advantage in the series, dating back to 2004. The Hornets last won, 100-88 (March 5, 2020).

Kenneth Blakeney (Duke, '95), who is in his sixth season and has led the Bison to two straight MEAC Tournament titles and NCAA appearances. DSU is coached by Stan Waterman (Delaware, 1989), who is his fourth season at the helm.

Harper has established himself as one of the top freshmen in the country, being named MEAC Rookie of the Week for a record-setting 14 times this season and holding the honor of being named the MEAC Player of the Week twice....Harper also holds the distinction of being ranked in the Top 5 among all freshmen in scoring in the NCAA Division I…Harper is one of a handful of Division I players to have recorded a triple-double this season…Harper has recorded four double-doubles and has scored 30 or more points three times, including a career-high 35 points versus Hampton (Feb. 1)…Harper has reached double figures in all but two games...Dockery is quietly having his best all-around season in a Bison uniform, continuing to be the premier long ball shooter in the conference for the third straight season while led the conference in three-point shooting percentage and three pointers made per game…Dockery has flourished in other areas, including overall shooting with a career-best 51-percent from the floor; 43-percent from three-point land and 82-percent from the charity stripe…Dockery is scheduled to set a new career high in assists...Dockery ranks 20

HORNETS STINGS
DSU has averaged almost 92 points during its current win streak…The Hornets have used a balanced scoring attack with three players averaging in double figures, unselfish play and taking care of the basketball (+3 in turnover margin) for a winning formula…In MEAC play, DSU is averaging 77 points per game while limiting its opponents to 70 ppg.
