WASHINGTON (June 11, 2026) – To celebrate the hometown Washington Wizards bringing the No. 1 pick back to The District, the Howard University men's basketball program will be hosting its first-ever NBA Draft Watch Party. The event will be held Tuesday (June 23) at Morton's The Streakhouse (1050 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20036), beginning at 7:30 p.m.

HU had a historic year for the program under Coach Blakeney. The Bison won 24 games, tying the school record for most wins in a season. More importantly, they won a first round NCAA game for the first time in school history, setting the stage for something special in years to come.
