BOSTON (December 9, 2025) – CollegeInsider.com unveiled its Women's Mid-Major Top 25 where the Howard University women's basketball team made the cut for the fifth consecutive week. The announcement came Tuesday evening.
This week, HU (7-4) remains 19
th in the poll after earning a 1-1 mark. On Dec. 5, the Bison topped highly talented Fairfield, 72-69, inside The Burr for Education Day. Two days later (Dec. 7), Howard suffered a tough 63-59 road loss at Old Dominion.
Additionally, the Bison are ranked 98
th in the latest NCAA Net Rankings.
Princeton (9-1) is No. 1 for the second straight week, receiving 26 first-place votes. South Dakota State (7-2) stays at No. 2, receiving five first-place votes.
North Dakota State (7-2) and Santa Clara (8-3) are the newest teams to this week's Women's Mid-Major Top 25®.
The Women's Mid-Major Top 25® is released every Tuesday throughout the season.
