NORFOLK, Va. (November 24, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) uncovered its women's basketball weekly honors where Howard University senior forward
Zennia Thomas (Cleveland) claimed the league's Player of the Week award for the second consecutive week. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
Thomas averaged a double-double (21.3 points & 10.3 rebounds) during the three-game span while guiding HU to a 2-1 mark. She posted back-to-back double-doubles in the victories over Monmouth (Nov. 20) and William & Mary (Nov. 23).
This season, Thomas tops the MEAC in several categories, including scoring (19.0 ppg), rebounding (8.8 rpg) and field goal percentage at 55-percent.
Delaware State's Liliana Harrison was named MEAC Rookie of the Week while fellow Hornet Ericka Huggins earned Defensive Player of the Week.
Howard travels to West Lafayette, Ind., to take on the Boilermakers of Purdue Wednesday (Nov. 26). Tipoff at noon.
