BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (November 12, 2025) – The NEC uncovered its men's soccer postseason honors where Howard University saw two Bison acknowledged for their outstanding efforts during the 2025 season. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.
Redshirt freshman midfielder
Naim Robinson (Detroit) highlighted the afternoon, becoming the first Bison in program history to win the illustrious NEC Rookie of the Year award. The two-time NEC Rookie of the Week recipient finished his first season with eight total points (four assists & two goals). For his efforts, he was also selected to the All-NEC Second Team and All-Rookie Team.
After earning NEC All-Rookie Team a year ago, sophomore forward
Daniil Kaban (Kharkiv, Ukraine) was named to the All-NEC Second Team with Robinson. He ranked among the league leaders in multiple categories, including goals (t-3
rd) and total points (t-6
th).
FDU's Arnau Rabassa Guillamon was named NEC Player of the Year while head coach Jaymee Highcock claimed the league's Coach of the Year. LIU's Niklas Thanhofer took home NEC Defensive Player of the Year and SFU's Diego Garciarena grabbed the conference's Goalkeeper of the Year.
