Destiny Howell (Queens, N.Y.) scored a game-high 15 points to lead four Bison in double figures as HU rolled past American, 75-46, at Bender Arena.
DSU
Delaware State (3-10) is coming off a 64-47 home loss to Hampton Monday (Dec. 30). It was the Hornets' sixth straight loss. DSU was led by Kiarra Mcelrath (15 points), Brook Barnes (eight points) and Mckenzie Stewart (six points & a team-high 10 rebounds).

Howard holds a commanding 21-5 advantage over the Hornets since 2006. The two last played in March 2024 and the Bison posted a 61-43 victory for its 16
th straight against DSU. The Hornets last won, 87-86, in Dover, Del. (January 11, 2016).
