BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (May 31, 2024) – The Northeast Conference (NEC) uncovered its 2023-24 Winter Academic Honors where Howard University Swimming & Diving saw 31 Bison recognized for their outstanding efforts inside the classroom. The announcement came Thursday (May 30).
All 31 Bison made the NEC Academic Honor Roll after earning a 3.2 grade point average (GPA) during the 2023-24 campaign.

Additionally, seven Bison were named to the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll after recording a 3.75 GPA during the 2023-24 academic year: Bashir; Cooper; Debnam; Nwaeze; Peoples-Hobson; Rankin and Young.
Overall, the league acknowledged 811 student-athletes with 309 making the Commissioner's Honor Roll. That figure was the fourth-most in NEC history.
