BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (May 29, 2026) – The NEC unveiled its 2025-26 Winter Academic Honors where Howard University Swimming & Diving saw 28 Bison recognized for their academic excellence. The announcement came Friday afternoon.
All 28 Bison made the NEC Academic Honor Roll after earning a cumulative 3.2 grade point average (GPA).

Additionally, 10 Bison were named to the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll after recording a cumulative 3.75 GPA: Bashir; Debnam; Diaz; Hall; Harrell; Nwaeze; Peoples-Hobson; Triche; Vickles and Young.
Overall, the league acknowledged 814 student-athletes with 290 making the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
