WASHINGTON (April 18, 2024) - Howard University track and field will gear up for a short road trip to Baltimore to compete in a pair of meets: Morgan Legacy (April 19-20) and Loyola-Hopkins (April 20).

MEET PREVIEW
The Morgan Legacy, hosted by Morgan State, running events will start at 9:40 a.m., where they will start an exciting day with races in the hurdles, sprints and distances. Shortly after 10 a.m., the field events will get things rolling with the javelin, long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put and discus.
Student-athletes from an impressive 18 colleges and universities will compete in the upcoming meet. Notable schools include Howard; Morgan State; Bowie State; Catonsville; Coppin State; Delaware State; Hampton; Maryland Eastern Shore; NJIT; UMBC and Virginia State.
At the Loyola-Hopkins Invitational, co-hosted by Loyola (Md.) and John Hopkins, which is only a one-day meet, the women look to continue their dominance. Events will begin at 9 a.m.

Cathrina Morris (Auburndale, Fla.) and senior
Noah Langford (Portsmouth, Va.) highlighted the weekend at Florida's Tom Jones Memorial Invite. Morris won silver in the 100-meter hurdles with a 13.45 time and Langford finished runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles with 51.14.

Next weekend, the Bison will head to Philadelphia for the prestigious Penn Relays (April 25-27).
