BISON NOTES
  • A win would keep them close to MEAC leader, Norfolk State, which only defeat came to Howard.
  • Walker has entered the conversation for MEAC Rookie of the Year consideration after scoring 55 points in the past three games. The sharpshooting guard has scored in double figures in the last 10 games.
  • Miller, a strong candidate for MEAC Defensive Player of the Year, has collected 36 rebounds in the past three games. In the absence of scoring, it has been Miller creating havoc on defense with her ball hawking and shot blocking and on the offensive end with timely baskets, including some offensive stick backs.
  • Creek has also been an important contributor with her scoring, averaging over 10 points during the current four-game stretch.
  • Warren, a candidate for first team All-MEAC consideration, has played well of late with 15 assists and only five turnovers in the last three games.

NEXT UP
