BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (November 12, 2024) – The Northeast Conference (NEC) uncovered its men's soccer postseason honors where Howard University had a pair of Bison acknowledged for the outstanding seasons. The announcement came Tuesday afternoon.
Senior
Bryson Baker (Ellicott City, Md.) was selected to the All-NEC Second Team while newcomer
Daniil Kaban (Kharkiv, Ukraine) earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team.
Baker wrapped up his final season with 11 points (seven assists & two goals) in 16 starts. In his illustrious career, the three-time All-NEC selection started 59 contests while racking up 43 points (17 goals & nine assists).
For Kaban, he played 16 matches (15 starts) while producing five points (two goals & one assist). On Sept. 3, the Ukrainian native won NEC Rookie of the Week after his performance at UMBC (Aug. 26) where he scored his first collegiate goal.
Mercyhurst's Dylan Sumner won NEC Player of the Year while head coach Austin Solomon and staff claimed the league's Coaching Staff of the Year. LIU's Eoin Gawronski and Stephane Njike received Goalkeeper of the Year and Rookie of the Year, respectively, while Le Moyne's Jack Goodrich grabbed the conference's Defensive Player of the Year.
