BISON NOTES
  • Walker has entered the conversation for MEAC Rookie of the Year consideration after scoring 62 points in the past four games.
  • Miller, a strong candidate for MEAC Defensive Player of the Year, has had back-to-back outstanding performances. In the absence of scoring, it has been Miller, creating havoc on defense with her ball hawking and shot blocking and on the offensive end with timely baskets including some offensive stick backs.
  • During the current win streak, Howard has limited its opponents to an average of 52 points and under 30-percent shooting from the field.
  • Howard and Norfolk State's win along with Coppin State loss has created a three-way tie for first through the first four league games.

NEXT UP
