WASHINGTON (February 18, 2023) - Howard University men and women track and field team will look to make some noise in Virginia Beach, Va., at the 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships. The three-day event (Feb. 19-21) will take place at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va.

Tickets are currently on sale through the Virginia Beach Sports Center and will also be on sale on-site throughout the event. There will be
NO CASH SALES. Fans can purchase single-day tickets for $15 Sunday (Feb. 19), $20 Monday (Feb. 20) and $25 Tuesday (Feb. 21).
On Sunday, a three-day pass will be available for $20. On Monday, fans can purchase a two-day pass for $25.

MEAC Digital Network on YouTube, in its entirety, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
MEET PREVIEW
Competition will get underway on Sunday at 2 p.m., with the start of the men's heptathlon. Day One will also see the MEAC hand out its first medals of the three-day event, crowning champions in the men's and women's long jump and 5K meter runs.
The following day, the men's heptathlon wraps up at 9 a.m., and the women's heptathlon will get underway at 9:20 a.m. Running events start with the women's 60-meter hurdle preliminary heats at noon and Tuesday's action will wrap up with the women's and men's distance medley races.
Wednesday's slate will kick off at 9:30 a.m., with the women's pole vault. Running events will commence at 12:30 p.m., with the women's mile run.
Howard women look to repeat as indoor champions while the men are seeking their first indoor crown since 1985.
