LAST TIMEOUT
The Bison played a quality field in the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament (Nov. 18-20) in Nassau, Bahamas, competing against No. 23 Ole Miss, Memphis and DePaul.
In the three setbacks, Howard played good defense, but was not able to generate consistent offense, especially in the fourth quarter of games. The Bison are holding their opponents to 61 points per game (ppg), but they are averaging only 53 ppg.
"We have to be ready to play, no matter the circumstances," said Howard women's basketball head coach
Ty Grace. "We are not the type of team that can come out with low energy and effort. We have the ability to regroup when facing some adversity like we did this past weekend. We made a statement that we can compete with some of the best talent and teams in the country."
