WASHINGTON (October 4, 2023) - In order to get to know the team a bit better, Howard University women's basketball team sat down with its student-athletes and asked a series of questions to each class about themselves, life, their interests and more!

Q: What made you choose Howard?
A: I chose Howard because of basketball.
Q: What are you most looking forward to about college life?
A: I am looking forward to having fun and experiencing new things.
Q: Are there any Howard traditions or events that you are excited to participate in?
A: No, not really.
Q: How do you imagine balancing your social life with your academic and athletic
commitments?
A: I plan on staying focused in balancing both commitments.
Q: What's the best advice a coach has given you?
A: The best advice I received from a coach is, "Do what's best for you."
Q: What three words best describe you?
A: The best three words to describe me are kind, outgoing and driven.
Q: What three things you would like to accomplish during your freshman year?
A: Three thing I would like to accomplish during my freshman year: finish with a 3.0 GPA or higher; have a good season on the court and win the championship.

A: I listen to any song with Lil Durk.
Q: If you could un-invent one thing, what would it be?
A: I would definitely un-invent math (lol).
Q: What's your favorite place in the world?🌎
A: My favorite place in the world is Chipotle (lol).

A: I would say elephant (I heard they're are caring)🐘

A: My favorite holiday tradition is decorating and eating Christmas cookies.
