WASHINGTON (February 18, 2022) – Howard University Women's Bowling team starts the latter part of their season at the second Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) round-up in Virginia Beach, Va., hosted by Norfolk State University.
MEET PREVIEW
The two-day event (Feb. 19-20) will consist of only traditional matches. Saturday (Feb. 19), the Lady Bison will compete in five matches, starting at 10:30 a.m.
In order, they will face No. 8 North Carolina A&T State University, No. 19 University of Maryland Eastern Shore, No. 15 Morgan State University, Coppin State University (CSU) and University of Alabama Birmingham.
Competition continues Sunday (Feb. 20) with four more traditional matches, commencing at 9 a.m.
For the first time, every time will qualify for the MEAC Championships despite the rankings after this conference round-up. This is the last time the MEAC teams will meet before the championship tournament (March 25-27).
LAST TIMEOUT
On Nov. 20-21, Howard competed in the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational where they went 6-4 overall.
After going 2-3 on Day One, HU closed out the weekend with a 4-1 mark.
