"After a great run last season, we wanted to continue the make our schedule both competitive and diverse," said Howard women's basketball head coach Ty Grace. "We've done that and I'm excited to see how our players will embrace being regarding as a team to beat."

The Bison open the season with home court advantage against LaSalle University (Nov. 7).

On Nov. 12, Howard gears up for their first road trip of the season when they travel to Grind City to take on the Memphis Tigers in FedEx Forum. HU makes its way back to D.C. for a quick turnaround, hosting George Washington (Nov. 14).

Kicking off a near two-week hiatus from Burr Gymnasium, the Bison make their way to the Bronx, challenging the Manhattan Jaspers (Nov. 19). The Bison migrate down the east coast for the holidays, competing in the FIU Thanksgiving Tournament in Miami (Nov. 25-27).

On Nov. 30, the Bison return to Washington D.C. to face crosstown rival American University inside Bender Arena.

The Bison will host Elon (Dec. 2) and Towson (Dec. 10) before baring the winter winds of Chicago when they take on DePaul (Dec. 12).

Hosting their only game of the winter break, women's basketball takes on the Mean Green of North Texas (Dec. 18).

Rounding out the nonconference schedule, the Bison close 2022 with two road games against Duquesne (Dec. 21) and VCU (Dec. 28).

"We are humbled by all the great accomplishments and recognition last year," Grace continued. "We have to come out ready to compete against some really good teams this season. With some new talent added to our roster, I look forward to watching us get better each game, especially in the nonconference. We're preparing to make another run in the MEAC."
