BETHLEHEM, Pa. (October 25, 2022) – The Howard University women's golf team concluded the fall portion of the 2022-23 season with a fifth-place finish in Lehigh's annual invitational.
Collectively, HU shot 31-over par (607) during the three-day tournament. After day one, Howard sat in second place after carding 12-over par (300).
Sophomore standout Kendall Jackson (Pearland, Texas) posted a steady three-over par (75) in both rounds, leaping from a seven-way tie for 14th place to a top 10 finish.
Grad transfer Kyra Cox (South Salem, N.Y.) and first-year Bison Marley Franklin (Los Angeles) tied for 22nd overall after producing eight-over par (152) in two days.
Leading through both rounds of play, Navy took home the grand prize, carding +18 (594). Quinnipiac's Kaylee Sakoda won the individual medal, registering one-under par (143).
