BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (October 2, 2025) – The NEC uncovered its men's and women's monthly weekly awards where Howard University senior
Marley Franklin (Los Angeles) was named Women's Golfer of the Month. The announcement came Thursday afternoon.
The Los Angeles native finished runner-up at the Bridgestone Collegiate Invite (Sept. 3-4), firing 4-over par (220). She also placed top 20 at the annual Johnie Imes Invite (Sept. 22-23), recording 4-over par (148) in two rounds of action.
Franklin wrapped up September with a 74.0 stroke average through eight rounds.

Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.),
Francisco Perez and
Mathis Perroni (Metz, France) and sophomore
Lena Durette (Scottsdale, Ariz.) joined Franklin on the NEC Prime Performers list.
LIU's Arjun Singh Bhatia was selected NEC Men's Golfer of the Month.
The Bison look ahead, competing in the Navy Fall Invitational (Oct. 4-5).
