WASHINGTON (October 19, 2025) - Howard University women's golf team travels to Johnstown, Pa., to compete in their last tournament of the fall season. The Red Flash Invitational (Oct. 20-21), hosted by Saint Francis University (SFU), will feature a round of 18 holes each day at Sunnehanna Country Club (par-72, 5,972 yards).

HISTORY
In 2014, SFU hosted the inaugural Red Flash Invitational. Last year was the first time the Red Flash hosted an event at Sunnehanna Country Club since 2015.
TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
Sunnehanna Country Club is located in Johnstown, Pa., and is widely known for hosting one of the most prestigious amateur events in the country, the Sunnehanna Amateur, each summer. Its 18-hole course, designated by A.W., Tillinghast, features a challenge layout, measures 6,868 yards and has a slope rating of 133.
Alongside Howard and Saint Francis, this year's participants include Bucknell, Duquesne, LaSalle, Mercyhurst, Mount St. Mary's, Purdue Fort Wayne, Saint Joe's and Towson.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Oct. 6-7, the Bison competed in the 2025 Navy Fall Invitational.
Reigning NEC Player of the Year junior golfer
Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.) won the tournament with a one-under par (143) performance.
