The Howard University softball program returns to the diamond tomorrow with a pair of home doubleheaders versus Robert Morris University at the Nationals Youth Academy. The Colonials and Bison will meet for the first time, with the first pitch slated for noon each day.
Howard
- The Bison returns to the field after having their doubleheader versus UMBC canceled due to field conditions.
- Howard last played February 20 in a twin bill versus Bowie State, defeating the Lady Bulldogs 11-0 (5) and 10-0 (5).
- Three Bison collected weekly honors, Kianna Carr took home pitcher of the week award, while Sydni Jones took rookie of the week, and Natalie Davila took player of the week after compiling a .677 batting average while going 4-for-6 and belted a grand slam in the fourth inning of the 10-0 win.
- Howard pitchers combined for 18 strikeouts.
- Howard combined for 27 hits, 21 runs, and 16 RBIs.
- Gibbs and Swanson recorded a 1.00 slugging percentage; Gibbs recorded three hits, two doubles, a Rbi, and scored twice, while Swanson recorded two hits, a run, and a rbi.

RMU heads to Washington, D.C., for a pair of doubleheaders to wrap up the non-conference portion of its 2021 schedule after taking on North Carolina Central.
