2021: Named to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) First Team ... won MEAC Rookie of the Week three times (March 1, March 8 & April 12) ... nationally, ranked top 30 in toughest to strikeout ... produced a .291 batting average with 23 hits, 15 runs scored, 14 RBIs, eight walks and three stolen bases ... recorded seven multi-hit performances ... batted 2-of-3 with two RBIs against Robert Morris (March 6) ... went 3-of-4 with four RBIs in the win over Robert Morris (March 7) ... went a perfect 2-of-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored in the victory over Delaware State (March 14).

Personal: Jones hails from Whittier, Calif., where she was a four-year varsity starter, including a three-year team captain for the Gladiators. During her tenure, Jones helped clinch four San Gabriel Valley League titles and provided a game-winning RBI in the California Interscholastic Federation Semifinal game. Jones helped clinch top-10 finishes with the Corona Angels in the Premier Girls Fast pitch Nationals during the 2016 and 2017 campaigns.

Sydni is the daughter of Darron, who played football in high school, and Brandie Jones, who played basketball, and softball, and cheered. She is also the sister of Simone and Drew.
