ATLANTA (August 4, 2020) – The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) unveiled its 2019-20 Academic Honor Roll where Howard University saw 33 Bison (16 men and 17 women) earn recognition.
To be eligible, student-athletes maintained a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) during the 2019-20 academic year.
"Our team has continued to make academic success their No. 1 priority," said Howard Director of Swimming & Diving
Nicholas Askew. "Their commitment is exemplary, especially during these difficult times. I am extremely proud of them."

Collectively, 546 student-athletes made the list composing of three sports sponsored by the conference.
Askew enters his seventh season at the nation's only NCAA Division I Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Swimming & Diving program.
