Biography
2020-21: Selected to the 2021 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Commissioner's All-Academic Team ... season due to COVID-19.
2019-20: Selected to the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Academic Honor Roll...recorded three first, two second and two third-place finishes for the season...earned second in the 50-yard freestyle (25.38) and tied for second place in the 100-yard freestyle (56.47) at VMI (Oct. 5)...finished third in the 50-yard freestyle (25.40) at American (Nov. 1)...placed third in the 50-yard freestyle (25.07) at George Washington (Nov. 9)...finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (25.12) at UMBC (Jan. 4)...won the 50-yard freestyle (25.11) at Catholic (Jan. 25)...won the 50-yard freestyle (25.20) at Siena (Feb. 2)...secured the seventh-best time in program history in the 50-yard freestyle (24.17) at the CCSA Championships (Feb. 19-22).
2018-19: Did not compete.
Personal: Evans joins the program from Atlanta where she chose Howard for the combination of an increasingly competitive swim team and the ability to attend a prestigious black university.
