WASHINGTON (January 10, 2020) – The 2020 Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft is underway and among the list of players eligible for selection is Howard University's midfielder
Andres Gomez (Silver Spring, Md.). The exclusive list puts Gomez among the top eligible players coming out of college.

Phillip Gyau of his former star midfielder. "Andres is going to go a long way because he has what it takes physically and mentally."
Gomez wrapped up his final season leading the nation in shot accuracy, scoring on 70-percent of his shots. As a result, the Maryland native earned Sun Belt All-Conference First Team recognition. He ended his senior campaign with 17 total points (eight goals and one assist).
For his career, Gomez played in 49 contests where he racked up 31 total points, 14 goals and three assists.
