WASHINGTON (October 7, 2026) - Howard University men's soccer team travels to Williamsburg, Va., to face the College of William & Mary Thursday (Oct. 8). Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m., at Martin Family Stadium.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
Thursday's showdown will be the first matchup between both programs in 30 years. On Oct. 10, 1996, both two teams ended in a 2-2 tie.
From 1977 to 1999, 21 matches were played between the two schools with William & Mary leading the series, 10-7-4.
HOWARD
Howard currently holds a 3-7-1 overall record, last playing Mercyhurst in a 1-1 tie Sunday (Oct. 4). At Greene Stadium, the Bison faced the Lakers and defensively stunned them with 11 saves making the game competitive until the end.
The Lakers were not able to score until the second half while Howard scored in the first.

Onarae Rice (Greenville, S.C.) scored the first goal for the team and led the team offensively in the game, putting up two shots. Goalkeeper
Liam Keiller (Gaithersburg, Md.) ended the game with seven saves and fellow goalie
Joshua Snyder (Princeton, N.J.) added four saves.

Daniil Kaban (Kharkiv, Ukraine) leads the team in goals scored (3).
WILLIAM AND MARY
William & Mary enters Thursday's contest with a 5-5-1 overall record. The Tribe are coming off a 3-1 loss to Elon University at home Sunday (Oct. 3). The team had a slow start to the game, scoring their only goal in the second half and they were unable to stop Elon's two goals within two minutes later in the second half.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Oct. 4, the team competed against Mercyhurst, which ended in a 1-1 tie.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Following Thursday's matchup, the Bison travel to play Stonehill College Sunday (Oct. 11) at Skyhawk Field in North Easton, Mass. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
