WASHINGTON - Howard University women's basketball head coach, Ty Grace, has announced her annual summer skills camps.

This year, Grace is offering the Future Elite Day Camp, a week-long program for fourth through eighth grade girls. The camp will include drills, tips, and interactive games to help young girls within the community improve their craft and connect with other student-athletes.

For high school students, Grace will continue the Ty Grace Elite Experience Camp. The one-day camp is in its third year. Campers will learn from the basketball coaching staff, as well as, former and current athletes. Students will develop their skills, compete against each other and learn the significance of being a student-athlete in college.

"I am happy to share these two great events with the Howard community, the DMV-area and beyond. It's going to be an exciting summer of  hoops, learning and fun," stated Grace.

The Future Elite Day Camp will be held June 24-28. Cost of attendance is $200. An early bird discounted rate is offered at $185.

The Elite Experience Camp is scheduled for August 3. Cost of attendance is $70. The early bird rate is $65. Howard University employees will receive a discounted rate.
