NEW ORLEANS (August 23, 2018) – The Sun Belt Conference (SBC) uncovered its academic individual honors where the Howard University Men's Soccer program saw 20 Bison recognized for their academic achievements during the 2017-18 calendar year. The announcement came Thursday morning.
Howard had 10 Bison named to the SBC Academic Honor Roll List while another 10 were tabbed to the SBC Commissioner's List.

More than 2,000 SBC student-athletes were named to the 2017-18 Commissioner's List and Academic Honor Roll. The list is comprised of 1,036 student-athletes on the Commissioner's List and 987 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll list.
The Commissioner's List honors student-athletes who maintained a 3.5 grade point average or better during the 2017-18 academic year and the Academic Honor Roll honors those student-athletes who maintained a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 for the academic year.

Howard opens its 15-match regular season slate in our Nation's Capital against Bryant (Aug. 24). Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Greene Stadium.
